Manor House
Dunn Developments invited us to Manor house in Yorkshire to
design a distribution system for TV & audio throughout.
The project was a two and a half million pound renovation
so William Dunn needed to be confident FT Audio Visual could
deliver.
Sonos had already been specified as an audio solution, which
we were more than happy to work with. We linked eight zones
including their office, snug, dining room, kitchen, orangery,
games room and patio on CAT5 data cable to ensure no loss
of signal through the thick walls on WiFi. We specified ‘Proficient
audio’ C610 and C650 ceiling speakers inside and ‘Apart’ rock
speaker’s outdoors. We included a 500GB Sonos Hard disk Buffalo
for music storage on the network.
For TV distribution we specified a Labgear HDU681, which allowed
us to send DVB, CCTV, SKY and a magic eye back feed to each
screen.
We specified Samsung screens through out, including the bespoke
remotely operated ceiling TV lift in the master bedroom.
Just a quick note to say thank you for the
hard work your technicians put in to achieve what can only
be described as a fantastic system. The development was such
a high profile one and the end results meets every expectation
and above. My client is blown away with the performance of
the Sonos system and the TV lift is just the showpiece we
were looking for. I will sleep at night knowing my client
has the follow up support and after care which in my experience
many companies seem to lack these days.
I will be sure to call FT for my next project, which warrants
an injection from the Audio Visual professionals!
